Our favourite walks
from the Horse & Groom.
On the edge of the South Downs National Park, we have a wealth of interesting and varied walks right on our doorstep. Below you will find three of our favourite circular walks, all starting from the Horse & Groom. You can enjoy open pastures, walk beneath ancient yew trees, stand atop of bronze age burial mounds, walk in the footsteps of Charles II and on a clear day enjoy views as far as the Isle of Wight.
In our humble opinion, what makes the best of walks is a good pub waiting for you at the end!
