Each of our individually designed bedrooms has its own character and charm - no two are the same. At the centre of every room sits an oversized, upholstered headboard in carefully chosen fabrics, paired with softly layered colours from heritage paint houses to create a calm, comfortable feel. Throughout the rooms you’ll find considered details: statement lampshades, textured cushions, woven throws and elegant trimmings that bring warmth and personality to each space. Every bedroom feels individual, thoughtfully designed and quietly luxurious.

Every stay includes:

Hypnos mattresses

Our own 200-thread-count linens

Walk-in rainfall showers (Arundel features a bath; Goodwood offers a wet room)

Fresh milk in stay-cool flasks

Homemade cookies from our kitchen

Still water, Yorkshire tea caddy & speciality teas

Nespresso machine with Grind Dark Blend capsules

We’re also delighted to arrange a few extra touches to make your stay feel even more special - flowers in the room, English sparkling wine on ice, a Pott candle, or Horse & Groom petit fours waiting on arrival.

Had a wonderful stay at the Horse and Groom on our way to a Goodwood event. The facilities, staff and dining were all exceptional, the only disappointment wasthat we had such a quick turnaround and couldn’t enjoy it all more fully. Myhusband and I will certainly be back for a longer stay.
